Byrne elected Chairman of IEOA
Killian Byrne, Managing Director of Mercury Events has been elected to the Chair of the Irish Exhibition Organisers Association , the national representative body for the exhibition & events industry.
When taking over from long standing Chairman & current treasurer, Sean Lemass, he commented "I am honoured to elected to the position...it is important that all stakeholders in the Exhibition & Events Industry, Organisers, Contractors and Venues, work together in strengthening what we have in order to see ourselves through these difficult economic times. Many of us havehad to make drastic cuts throughout our businesses to stay afloat and only as a united group will we see the other side"
